Breadbasket: defined as “a major cereal-producing region”, also used to designate an area of productivity where the necessities of life are found in abundance.

The vision:  The Treasure Coast is a “breadbasket”; we should expect that our region will be fruitful and prosperous both as a sign of God’s calling to the Church and as a source of supply during the days ahead.

Acts 17:26  From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times for them and the exact places where they should live.

The mission:  Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal His plans for the days ahead, and pray in agreement with the plan and will of God.  We are filling up the golden bowls of intercession while we wait eagerly for the coming of the Bridegroom King.

Breadbasket Intercession:

Some of us believe that the Treasure Coast has a new identity; the Holy Spirit has been speaking that the TC is changing, it is no longer what it used to be.  We have an opportunity to intercede for this region and declare what God is doing here.

·          As members of the Body of Christ, we cannot logically make the leap from what we see now to what God is calling us to be – He is changing the identity of the TC, it is His sovereign work and it is one way that He is providing for His people.

·          We are not alone – many others in this generation will have this same calling and other “breadbaskets” will be established.

·          God promises what seems “unbelievable;” we will be tempted to look at the “facts” but the “truth” is…. when we believe that the One who promised is faithful; that enables us to receive what God promised.  (Heb 11:11)

Matt 7:7  Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  8  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

ASK, SEEK and KNOCK:

• Revelation of His plan and purpose for the TC
• Increase the fertility of the soil and provide a surplus of water (early and late rain)
• Abundant crop harvests and new crops that have never grown here before
• Restore the citrus industry with new disease-resistant growing techniques
• Ask God to rebuke the devourer – prevent pests, disease and weather from spoiling the harvest

• Divine opportunities for new businesses and prosperity of existing enterprises:
• Shipping in and out of the Port of Ft. Pierce
• Discovery of new natural resources – previously unknown
• New businesses started for the purposes of establishing righteousness
• Significant inventions and software development
• Prosperity of businesses and abundant food supplies – more than enough.  The TC will operate in merchant evangelism – ministering to those who come here to buy products.
• The Church – empowered by the Holy Spirit to live victoriously and minister healing, signs and wonders – to open the door for power evangelism and a great harvest of souls.

They are currently studying The Excellencies of Christ, a 28 week study taught by Allen Hood of IHOP-KC.

This study unfolds the characteristics of Jesus and will explore the wonder of Christ’s pre-existence, incarnation, life, death, resurrection, ascension, and return.

Do you yearn to burn within with affection for Jesus Christ?  Do you have personal questions about the ways in which Jesus looks upon you, thinks and feels about you?

The Holy Spirit is bringing forth the Church into her bridal identity in this hour of human history.  He is highlighting the lofty truths of Jesus Christ as the Bridegroom God, and He is nurturing the Church upon the revelation of how Jesus sees, thinks, and feels about her as His cherished Bride.  The Holy Spirit is jealous to bring the Church into the depths of love for her Bridegroom God, Jesus Christ.  Although the reality of the Bridegroom God—the Lord Jesus Christ—can be seen in many other places in the Bible, this study will focus primarily upon looking into the grandeur of Jesus Christ through an allegorical approach to the Song of Solomon.

There are many facets of God.  He is the King of kings and Lord of lords; He has all authority.  He is the Judge above all judges; He rules from the highest courtroom in the universe.  This same Jesus Christ is also a jealous Bridegroom God.  If you carry curiosity to know Jesus Christ through the lens of intimacy, join us as we explore the truths contained in the Song above all songs.

 This core teaching on the Song of Solomon will be presented by Daniel Speight on Sundays @ 3 p.m. at our EGS (Encounter GOD Services).

It’s designed to impart the values, visions and helps each participant understand the basic structure of ODHOP, along with practical skills needed to maintain a lifestyle of prayer.

Whether sitting at the feet of Jesus Christ in intimacy, crying out in intercession for revival in a nation, contending for the full breakthrough of the power in healing and the prophetic, or engaging in evangelism or works of justice, our goal is to equip individuals and families and it starts with this seminar.

If you are new to the ODHOP community we especially recommended that you take this seminar.  It is under the direction of our ODHOP senior staff instructors and is open to everyone including musicians, singers and worship leaders.  It contains informative and inspiring sessions on biblical worship, the harp and bowl model of worship with prayer, and an overview of the four basic core teaching topics of a House of Prayer which are: Understanding God’s Plan; Understanding Intercession; Foundations of Friendship & Intimacy with God; and the Life and Message of a Forerunner.

Practical breakout sessions on prayer and worship are provided as needed, enabling participants to put into practice what they have learned.

This seminar will be offered several times each year, so please check back for the next presentation date.

Each Service is geared to call individuals to deeper depths of the knowledge of GOD, intimacy with Jesus Christ, urgency for the hour, and living out the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle.  The Encounter God Service is focused on making room for the Holy Spirit that leads to a place of individual encounter with GOD, as well as generating a shift in the spiritual atmosphere over the Treasure Coast of Florida.

Daniel Speight will continue the Song of Solomon core teaching on April 22.
